Today learned new thing about Resource database, as everybody knows resource database is the system database introduced in sql server 2005, this database is hidden and user cannot see and access it directly, all the sys. schema (system objects) are stored in this database.
This database is very important and all DMV/DMF are stored in it. and it is generally (data and log – mdf/ldf) files are at the same location as that of Master database.
on sql server 2005 – this database files can be moved to new location – with master.
but from sql server 2008 onwords microsoft kept it fixed and we cannot move the resource database.
